Concern about indoor exposure to mold has risen
with the awareness that exposure to mold can cause a variety of
health problems. There have been reports citing the health risks
to workers in offices contaminated with moldy surfaces, as well
as to residents in homes contaminated with fungus. When
excessive moisture accumulates indoors, mold spores may well thrive. Ignoring
these problems will cost more, and not just in health risks. Molds gradually
damage building materials and furnishings. If left unchecked, mold can
eventually cause structural damage to building, weakening floors and walls as
it feeds on moist structural members. Currently only the State of Texas
has regulated the licensing and work practices of mold remediation contractors.
Our commitment to offering our clients state-of-the-art remediation
services led CCS Environmental to become licensed Mold Contractor
in the State of Texas.
